Naturopathic support online

One of the biggest changes we have seen in the past few months is how our connection to others has changed. During this time of isolation, we remain connected through technology. For some this has been an easy adjustment and means more flexibility and relaxation in their day, sleep ins or time spent engaging in something fun rather than commuting to work for example. For others it has been stressful and perhaps meant being out of work. Many of us are somewhere in between enjoying the time at home while missing the cameraderie of being with colleagues and friends.

My clients have, on the whole, been pleasantly surprised at how easy it has been to transition our naturopathic appointments to the online world. While some health practitioners have used telehealth for some time, this pandemic has brought it into the mainstream fold.

I know some have been apprehensive and cautious, and it has taken some time for the technology to work out some issues, overall things seem to run smoothly. I have been using a combination of phone calls and secure video conferencing (zoom), with emailed information to and from clients and supporting health professionals. This has worked well fo us all with some clients looking forward to staying 'online' in future.

For this reason, I will continue to offer online appointments. This gives both myself and my clients the flexibility to continue to engage, discuss and heal, but to do this in a way that suits both of us at the appointed time. In person appointments will always have a place (as and when it is safe to do so). By adding online appointments I can be more available to you, especially as time moves on and people move away from our local Melbourne area.

I look forward to seeing you in person or online soon.

Alison.
